I am a music therapist and mental health specialist. With over 15 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults in all areas of the mental health continuum, I have devoted years to learning and living specialized perspectives to help myself and clients grow. I have worked in the field of mental health and substance abuse from in-home therapy, group homes, community-based, and in-patient treatment with adolescents and adults. I am passionate about making quality mental health care accessible to people in the community.

Career History
While my career track has taken me on a long and winding road, it has simultaneously brought me closer and closer to deep, transformational psychology. I started by earning a Bachelor of Music Therapy at Eastern Michigan University and worked at Bethany Children’s Home in Womelsdorf, PA. I then earned my Master of Science (with a focus in counseling, substance abuse, and music therapy) from Radford University (Virginia). I simultaneously completed a post-graduate training in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) at the Atlantis Institute for Consciousness and Music (AIMC). I am a current Fellow by the Association of Music and Imagery (FAMI) and GIM training assistant.
Today, I live with my partner, child, and our rescue dog (Shadow) in Michigan. My journey has lead me to live in many different places in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. I have an invisible disability of dyslexia, which I am still learning about. I enjoy stories in all forms, from movies and storytelling to songs. Playing music, dancing, and being outside bring me life.
